In the March ASTC newsletter, Hamish Blunck and Jared Morgan invited Brisbane technical writers and other interested parties to come along for a get-together at the Rush Bar, Post Office Square.

Great response - great get-together

The response was excellent. We had a total of twelve technical writers turning up for the event from a diverse range of industries.

The get-together gave many participants a chance to catch up with former colleagues and the interaction between everyone was very dynamic.

Rush Bar looked after us very well with some scrumptious gourmet pizzas. The great drink specials available on Wednesday nights helped some participants mingle a bit more easily.

What's next?

The whole event was over by 7.30pm and everyone who attended expressed an interest in attending the next event.

We look forward to catching up again with everyone and hope to see some new faces next time around.

The 4 April event was successful but we need to keep the energy high with comments and suggestions from our Brisbane technical writer community.
