Meetings

The pattern and format of meetings vary across the local ASTC groups but all meetings aim to keep our members up to date with advances in the methodologies and technologies that relate to our profession.

Meetings are held during the week.

Members and non-members who have specialist knowledge or skills are invited to present at the Central Sydney and Canberra ACT group meetings. The meetings of the Western Sydney group follow a more informal format.

Wherever possible, notes taken at the meeting or the speaker's presentation itself are published in the following ASTC newsletter so that members who are unable to attend can still gain benefit from the meeting.

Seminars

The ASTC schedules half-day seminars as part of its member education program. The seminars are held at weekends and generally have a technology focus - tool or platform.

Seminars are advertised well in advance in the ASTC newsletter, so watch for announcements.

Keep informed about ASTC events

It is important that the ASTC maintain an accurate list of member email contact addresses so that members can receive the bi-monthly ASTC e-News as well as timely reminders of meetings, seminars, the conference and other important events.

Please ensure that your ASTC details are up-to-date. If either your postal or email address has changed recently, update your details now.
